Der Dune BD Prime 3.0 Blu-ray- und Network Media Streaming-Player basiert auf dem neusten SIGMA 8642 Chipsatz. Der BD Prime 3.0 verfügt über ein eingebautes Blu-ray Laufwerk und kann optional auch eine 2.5" Festplatte intern aufnehmen (auf Anfrage sind folgende HHD-Größen verfügbar: 250GB, 320GB, 500GB, 750GB, 1TB). Externe Festplatten können aber auch über 3x USB 2.0 Ports oder 1x eSATA angeschlossen werden.
Der Dune BD Prime 3.0 hat ein gefälliges, flaches Gehäuse und kommen mit einer Gigabit Ethernet Schnittstelle und optional (Preis auf Anfrage) auch mit schnellem WiFi 802.11N für jeden Einsatzschwerpunkt.

Die Dune Netzwerk Media Streaming Clients sind multifunktionale Systeme mit denen Sie in höchster Qualität bis Full HD (1080p) Audio- und Videodateien in den unterschiedlichsten Formaten und Codecs entweder über das Netzwerk optional auch drahtlos von Ihren PCs, Notebooks, MACs oder einem NAS Gerät auf dem angeschlossenen Bildschirm und/oder der Stereoanlage geniessen können.
Über die USB oder eSATA Schnittstelle können externen Festplatte oder ein USB Stick angeschlossen werden, von dem Sie ebenfalls direkt Videos oder Musik abspielen können. Darüber hinaus können sich die HDI Systeme über Ihren DSL Router mit dem Internet verbinden und auf Webseiten sowie IP-Radiostationen oder IP-TV zugreifen.
Die optionale interne Festplatte der Geräte kann von Ihren PCs oder MACs aus über das Netzwerk erreicht werden um Videos oder Musik darauf ablegen zu können und nutzt den internen Torrent Client der auch für Downloads aus dem Internet ganz ohne einen laufenden PC im Hintergrund. Bei allen Modellen kann statt der optionalen internen auch eine externe USB oder eSATA Festplatte bzw. USB Stick für Torrent Downloads genutzt werden. Die BD Prime 3.0 haben auch ein Blu-ray Laufwerk eingebaut, über das man sich direkt kommerzielle Blu-ray Medien als auch DVDs und CDs ansehen bzw. anhören kann. NEU: Zu den 128 MB Standardspeicher werden zusätzlich noch 2 GB Flashspeicher als Blu-ray Local Storage einbaut sein, welcher Features wie BD-Live, Bonus View usw. ermöglichen soll.
In einem Netzwerk können mehrere HDI Systeme vorhanden sein, welche alle auf Ihre Video-/Audio-Dateien auch gleichzeitig zugreifen können.
